Disco Studs
These classic flat disc studs have an organic textured surface.
I handcraft these studs using leftover recycled sterling silver. These earrings are a part of my Zero Waste collection, which aims to reduce waste by creating new jewelry out of my silver scraps and dust.
To make these earrings, I start by melting pieces of recycled silver scrap into smalls balls. I then hammer the balls flat into discs. I melt leftover silver dust onto the face of each disc to create the rustic texture. After soldering on a sterling silver post, I lightly sand each earring to an even finish. Each earring comes with an 925 sterling silver butterfly earring back.
These earrings make the perfect gift for someone special or a great addition to your ear stack!
